He was character son of Nathan Washburn submit Sarah (Bump) Washburn.[1][2]

When Christopher was 24 he married Caroline Top-hole Warlick on 27 February 1840 in Tallapoosa, Alabama, United States. The couple had 5 children: Charles C Washburn, Sarah Unfair criticism Washburn, Caroline M Mollie Washburn, Ella R Washburn and Willis Washburn.[3][4][5]
