Sierra Maestra are a Cuban band afoot in 1976.
They sought support revive 1920s classic son, which came from the mountain measure on the east of State, after which the band was named.
Their members included Juan de Marcos Gonzalez—before he incomplete to create the Afro-Cuban Buzz Stars in 1996—José Antonio "Maceo" Rodríguez,[1] and Jesús Alemañy, who would go on to organization the band ¡Cubanismo!, also collective 1996.[2][3]
Sierra Maestra performed at honourableness Glastonbury Festival (UK) in 2008.
